Job summary

Cole Haan is seeking a 2nd shift Receiving Coordinator to support distribution center operations and order fulfillment across all channels. You will coordinate and train full-time and temporary associates to perform all Receiving functions.

Key duties include evaluating workload, planning staffing, monitoring capacity, and communicating plans with Distribution management. You will also generate daily and weekly reports and maintain performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of distribution and/or warehouse operations.
• Problem solving, prioritization and initiating tasks.
• Ergonomic awareness in the workplace.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-department collaboration skills.
• Proficient oral and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of MARC, SAP, and Excel.
• Ability to drive warehouse equipment.
• Proficient with MS Word, Windows, Excel, SAP and WMS.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate workload and staffing to meet daily workload requirements; create daily plans with inbound manager.
• Monitor DC capacity and plan remedies to minimize impact across categories.
• Develop and supply daily/weekly reports; maintain metrics.
• Provide process leadership and synchronize department efforts across the facility.
• Provide support to all warehouse functional areas when needed.
• Coordinate and train full-time and temporary associates for Receiving functions.
