Job summary

dormakaba International Holding AG in Indianapolis, IN seeks a 2nd shift Materials Lead to oversee material replenishment and fulfillment within the plant. The role combines manual and clerical duties, including SAP data entry and RF device usage, to ensure smooth operations.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and effective communication in a manufacturing setting. PIV experience or certification may be needed; expect overtime and a competitive benefits package

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Experience communicating effectively within a manufacturing environment is required.
• Solid Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) experience, or the ability to be certified on such warehouse equipment, may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct workflow and cross-train new employees entering the department.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklift, WAV, and TSP.
• Maintain appropriate stocking levels without disrupting customers, in collaboration with other departments.
• Inspect shipments for damage and verify packing slips, invoices, and bills of lading.
• Perform material movements using SAP via RF device or computer.
• Pull material parts from bins using a pick list and RF device to fill Transfer Orders.
