Job summary

Fontainebleau Miami Beach is seeking an Inventory Control Associate for Retail Operations. The role focuses on receiving merchandise, reconciling invoices, and maintaining accurate stock levels across on-site facilities and the offsite warehouse.

You will work closely with management and partners to resolve discrepancies, support cycle counts, and ensure timely, organized inventory processes within a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Inventory control experience preferred.
• Verify invoices and match received goods to orders.
• Communicate issues with partners about delays and shortages.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and support cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise and provide courteous service to vendors and staff.
• Reconcile merchandise received with invoices and PO data.
• Verify invoices and update merchandise items in systems.
• Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Input inventory items in the computer system.
• Supervise receiving clerk and ensure smooth operations.
• Train staff on proper merchandise handling and inventory processes.
• Communicate discrepancies to management and corporate as needed.
