Job summary

Sonepar in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Warehouse Associate-Receiving to efficiently pick, pack, and ship orders while maintaining accurate inventory records. The role requires safe operation of warehouse equipment and adherence to procedures for receiving and returns.

You will collaborate with receiving, shipping, inventory, and quality control to keep stock levels accurate and processes smooth. Candidates should be detail-oriented, communicative, and comfortable with ERP systems; forklift

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with receiving software and systems.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP/inventory systems is a plus.
• Forklift certification is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment: pick, pack and prepare outbound shipments per order.
• Shipping coordination: generate labels and prep documents for shipping or pickup.
• Inspection: check incoming goods for defects and report issues.
• Inventory management: update systems and ensure proper storage.
• Documentation: maintain receiving logs and accurate records.
• Equipment use: operate forklifts and hand trucks safely.
• Coordination: assist receiving, shipping, inventory and QC teams.
• Stock organization: keep receiving area clean and organized.
• Returns: process returned items and coordinate replacements or credits.
• Other duties as assigned.
