Sonepar is hiring a Warehouse Associate (Picking) in Mesa, AZ. You will pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, maintain inventory accuracy, and support receiving and shipping activities in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using receiving software and systems.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP software is a plus.
• Forklift certification is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment: Pick, pack and prepare outings shipments specific to each customer order, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Shipping coordination: Process shipping labels and documents while prepping products for transportation or pickups.
• Inspection: Check incoming goods for defects, damages, or discrepancies and report issues.
• Inventory Management: Update inventory systems with received items and ensure proper labeling and storage in designated locations.
• Documentation: Complete receiving logs, file necessary paperwork, and maintain accurate records for inventory tracking.
• Equipment Use: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Coordination: Collaborate with receiving, shipping, inventory, and quality control operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Stock Organization: Organize and maintain the receiving area, ensuring it is clean and hazard-free.
• Returns: Process returned items or defective goods, coordinating with vendors for replacements or credits.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.
