Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to support accurate receiving, inventory control, freight processing, and merchandise movement throughout the store. This role handles shipments, processes purchase orders, verifies inventory, sorts freight, and replenishes merchandise on the sales floor.

You will work with scan guns and computer systems, follow SOPs, and contribute to a safe, organized receiving area.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of receiving, warehouse, inventory, or related experience.
• Experience with purchase orders or shipping and receiving preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and process purchase orders according to SOPs.
• Use scan guns and computer systems to document receipts and inventory.
• Identify discrepancies and maintain receiving records.
• Verify pricing, labels, and security tags as required.
• Unload, sort, replenish merchandise, and assist with store inventory.
• Process store-to-store transfers, shipping, and UPS shipments.
• Follow apparel receiving and merchandising procedures, including tagging and labeling.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, and other equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe receiving area.
• Participate in cross-training and support other store departments.
