Limiting Factor Group in Palo Alto is seeking a Receiving Specialist to manage deliveries at our South Bay site. You will inspect shipments, verify against purchase orders, and record receipts in the ERP on delivery day.

The role requires attention to detail, accurate records, and ability to work outdoors/indoor at a construction site. You’ll coordinate with suppliers, support inventory counts, and help ensure safe, organized receiving operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in receiving, warehouse or inventory control.
• Experience with ERP software and spreadsheets.
• Accurate record keeping.
• Valid driver's license.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it (bonus).
• Experience receiving construction materials or industrial equipment (bonus).

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, check against orders and packing lists, and inspect them for damage.
• Record receipts in the ERP on the delivery day so Accounts Payable can match invoices.
• Tag assets and record serial numbers and storage locations.
• Keep the receiving area and yard organized; track inventory of equipment and spare parts.
• Report shortages, damage and wrong shipments to Procurement, and file freight claims.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers, carriers and the construction team.
• Support physical inventory and asset counts.
• Follow site safety rules at all times.
