Rural King Cumberland, MD is seeking a Receiving Associate to support accurate receiving, inventory control, freight processing, and merchandise movement throughout the store. This role receives shipments, processes purchase orders, verifies inventory, sorts freight, and replenishes merchandise on the sales floor.

You will use scan guns and store systems to document receipts, identify discrepancies, maintain records, and ensure pricing and tags are correct.

Competenze

• 1+ year of receiving, warehouse, inventory, freight, or related experience.
• Experience with purchase orders, inventory control, or shipping/receiving is preferred.
• Comfort with computers and inventory systems; good data accuracy.
• Ability to follow procedures and identify discrepancies with attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Receive shipments and process purchase orders according to SOPs.
• Use scan guns and computer systems to document receipts and inventory.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate PO, DC, vendor issues.
• Maintain receiving records and research negative on-hand inventory.
• Verify pricing, labels, and security tags as required.
• Unload, sort, organize, and distribute freight throughout the store.
• Replenish merchandise and aid with store inventory during peak times.
• Process store-to-store transfers, shipping, and UPS shipments accurately.
• Follow apparel receiving/merchandising procedures, including tagging and stocking.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, and related equipment safely.
