Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to support accurate receiving, inventory control, freight processing, and merchandise movement throughout the store. This role receives shipments, processes purchase orders, verifies inventory, sorts freight, and replenishes merchandise on the sales floor.

You will use scan guns and computer systems to document receipts, identify discrepancies, and ensure proper pricing and tagging.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of receiving, warehouse, inventory, or related experience.
• Experience with purchase orders, inventory control, or shipping/receiving is preferred.
• Proficient with computers and store systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to follow procedures and meet productivity targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and process purchase orders per SOPs.
• Document receipts and inventory with scan guns and computer systems.
• Identify discrepancies in PO, DC, or vendors; maintain receiving records.
• Verify pricing, labels, and security tags where required.
• Unload and organize freight; replenish merchandise on the sales floor.
• Support store operations and cross-train as needed.
