Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of store receiving, accounting, and distribution procedures.
• Working knowledge of WFM quality goals, food handling, safety.
• Ability to educate team on product knowledge and convey enthusiasm.
• Proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and IRMA.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations with customers, vendors, and Team Members.
• Follow directions with good time management and organization.
• Passion for natural foods and Whole Foods Market mission.
• Work ethic for fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of WFM quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Verify actual product against Purchase Orders and/or supplier paperwork.
• Confirm product integrity.
• Check product temperatures as needed.
• Stamp, file, and process invoices.
• Distribute invoice copies to appropriate teams.
• Close purchase orders in store purchasing system.
• Adhere to Receiving standards.
• Distribute processed paperwork to mailboxes and regional office.
• Follow up with vendors regarding accounts payable.
• Support product Teams with accounting during inventory and close.
• Distribute store expense invoices to leadership.
• Maintain baler, compactor, and environmental areas; call for service as needed.
• Arrive on time and attend trainings.
