Job summary

Lane Automotive Inc. is seeking a Receiving Associate to help manage vendor shipments and returns. You will verify product details, label and package items, and log any discrepancies while supporting inventory control and safety policies.

The role requires high school completion or GED, strong teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a first-shift position with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with leadership, managers, leads, and peers in writing and speaking.
• Willing to participate in Company designated training and adapt to changes in the work environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive vendor shipments via purchase order number and customer returns.
• Inspect and verify for correct amounts, description, label accuracy, quality, and disposition of product.
• Label/package product according to standardized procedures.
• Document product overages, shortages and damages.
• Log and communicate shipment errors.
• Build necessary pallets for incoming product.
• Perform stock/pallet moves to recommended stage locations.
• Assist Inventory Control with product storage slotting.
• Promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures and policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement project team activities.
