Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Receiving Forklift Operator on the 1st shift to support pallet movement, inventory handling, and order fulfillment. The role requires operating turret, cherry picker, stand‑up forklift and walkie stacker, with attention to safety protocols.

New hires participate in a 90-day evaluation period, with benefits eligibility and potential for full-time employment. Overtime may be required including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 6 months previous forklift experience required.
• Ability to work at heights of 30+ feet.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs.

1st (7:00am-3:00pm), Monday-Friday - overtime required including Saturday
