Job summary

Lakeside Book Company seeks a Receiving Forklift Operator for its Plainfield, IN facility. This 1st shift (7:00am-3:00pm) role involves operating turret, cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker to move pallets and cycle counts, with 6 months forklift experience required.

Benefits begin after the 90-day evaluation period and include medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, PTO, holidays, and EAP. Safety shoes are required and overtime is common, including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 6 months forklift experience required.
• Ability to reach heights of 30+ feet.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a turret, cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker.
• Down stacking pallets and moving product throughout the facility.
• Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory levels.
• Handle other duties as assigned, on and off equipment.
• Follow all safety guidelines; safety shoes required.
