Job summary

Lakeside Book Company seeks a Receiving Forklift Operator for its Plainfield, IN facility. This 1st shift (7:00am-3:00pm) role involves operating turret, cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker to move pallets and cycle counts, with 6 months forklift experience required.

Receiving Forklift Operator | $19.00/hr | 1 st Shift

What You’ll Get:

Shift: 1st (7:00am-3:00pm), Monday-Friday - overtime required including Saturday

Location: 700 Airtech Parkway, Plainfield, IN 46168

Path to Permanent Employment: New hires participate in a 90-day evaluation period designed to support training and successful integration into the team.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate a turret, cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker
• Down stacking pallets. stowing product, movement of product throughout the facility
• Cycle counts to maintain inventory levels
• Other duties as assigned, both on and off the powered equipment
• Follow all safety guidelines – safety shoes required

What We’re Looking For:

• 6 months previous forklift experience required
