Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is hiring a Receiving Forklift Operator for the 1st shift at our Plainfield, IN facility. The role offers $19.00/hr, full-time schedule, and on-demand pay with benefits eligibility. Overtime is required, including Saturdays, during the 7:00am–3:00pm shift.

New hires undergo a 90-day evaluation period to support training and successful integration into the team. You will operate turret, cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker, and perform inventory cycle counts

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months forklift experience.
• Ability to work at heights of 30+ feet.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a turret, cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker.
• Down stack pallets and move product throughout the facility.
• Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory levels.
• Handle other duties as assigned, on and off powered equipment.
• Follow all safety guidelines; safety shoes required.
