Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator for the night shift at our Plainfield, IN facility. The role includes operating cherry pickers and various forklifts, performing case and pallet picks, and maintaining inventory through cycle counts. A 90-day evaluation leads to potential permanent hire.

Night shift runs 11:00pm–7:00am, Sunday–Thursday with overtime. On-site location offers medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, PTO, holiday pay, and EAP after the probation period.

Qualifications

• 6 months forklift experience or more required.
• Ability to work at heights of 30+ feet.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Safety shoes must be worn on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker.
• Case and full pallet pick; other forklift duties as assigned.
• Stow product and organize inventory.
• Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear safety shoes.

Forklift Operator | $18.75-$21.25/hr | Night Shift | On Demand Pay
