Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Avon, IN seeks a Forklift Operator on 1st shift to safely move and stage inventory. You will operate reach trucks, order pickers, turret trucks, and pallet jacks in narrow aisles, loading and unloading material and ensuring accurate stock placement.

This full-time role offers $19.00 per hour, standard benefits and on-demand pay. Candidates must have forklift experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, and communicate effectively with drivers and warehouse staff, with overtime

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Effective communication with drivers and warehouse staff.
• Read and follow RF scanner instructions and WMS transactions.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach truck, order picker, turret truck, and/or pallet jack in narrow aisles.
• Move, store, and retrieve inventory in racks and bulk storage areas.
• Load, unload, and stage material.
• Follow all safety guidelines; safety shoes required.

Forklift Operator | $19.00/hr | 1 st Shift

Shift:

1st (7:00am-3:00pm), Monday-Friday - overtime required including Saturday

• Follow all safety guidelines - safety shoes required
