Job summary

Klosterman Baking Company is seeking a Process Leader to oversee the receiving operations while ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The role requires accurate receiving, documentation, and inventory management across bulk ingredients and packaging materials.

The Process Leader will also coordinate with vendors, schedule deliveries, and train receivers to maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing receiving operations and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Ability to maintain organized records, inventories and logs.
• Strong communication with operators, supervisors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts, inspects and verifies deliveries including temps, weights, damage and lots.
• Uses RF scanners to receive items and print pallet labels.
• Complete receiving checklists and file required documents (BOL, pack list, COA).
• Store and rotate inventory (FIFO) and manage bulk ingredient levels.
• Conduct weekly/month-end inventories and maintain records.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and pallet inverter with training.
• Provide training and assign tasks to receivers.
• Forecasts, plans and enters bulk ingredient requests in Business Central.
• Communicate delivery appointments with vendors/carriers.
