Job summary

Klosterman Baking Company in Hebron, Ohio is seeking a Shipping and Distribution Process Lead to support the Warehouse Manager. You will direct daily shipping operations, coach the team, and ensure accurate, on-time deliveries while maintaining food safety and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities include inventory counts, coordinating with production, ensuring trailers are loaded properly, completing DOT documentation, and training staff.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership to direct shipping and distribution personnel.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with other departments.
• Ability to train and mentor staff to meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, training and mentoring of shipping and distribution team personnel.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts on finished product trays.
• Coordinate with production and other facilities on tray inventories and shipments.
• Ensure trailers are loaded properly and in accordance with shipping load sheets.
• Record shipping and distribution documentation and complete BOLs and DOT forms as needed.
• Facilitate daily pre-shift and pass-down meetings with the team.
• Verify and adjust shipping documents and bill of lading as necessary.
• Maintain GMP compliance and food safety practices across the department.
