Job summary

Martin Incorporated is seeking a Receiving Coordinator to ensure accurate receipt of shipments and maintain inventory control. This role requires attention to detail, organization, and clear communication with internal teams and external partners.

You will coordinate inbound shipments, update records, and conduct cycle counts while adhering to safety guidelines. The position is full-time, with a standard weekday schedule and potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse or storeroom experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Experience with stocking and inventory control preferred.
• Proficient in Outlook, SAP, Excel, and Word.
• Forklift certification and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and inspect items for damage or discrepancies.
• Update inventory records and systems with received items and quantities.
• Perform cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve shipment discrepancies.
• Communicate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Customer Service for efficient receiving processes.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external stakeholders.
