Job summary

Summit Pump is seeking a Receiving Coordinator to manage inbound shipments, ensure accurate documentation, and support daily warehousing operations. The role emphasizes safe handling, orderly staging, and timely data entry in our warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate will have proven receiving experience, be able to operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and collaborate effectively with team members while maintaining a clean, organized workplace.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process incoming shipments, count parts, and route to correct departments.
• Identify missing or damaged materials and notify supervisor.
• Receive and process warehouse stock (pick, unload, label, store).
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse daily.
• Assist with training of new employees.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Document all shipments accurately in the system.
• Maintain proper storage and staging areas for inventory and manufacturing needs.
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers.

Job description

The Receiving Coordinator is accountable for driving results in a fast-paced environment by being responsible for assisting the site with all material handling, receiving, proper documentation and data entry as required. The position requires superior leadership behaviors.

Responsibilities

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

• Process any incoming shipments, opening and counting all parts. Routing parts to correct departments.
• Identify any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily.
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
• Inspect products for defects and damage.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Assist with training of new employees.
• Receives and properly documents all incoming shipments to the company, entering and ensuring timely document recording and data entry.
• Responsible for all material handling: properly reserve and stage in correct areas for storage and manufacturing staging
• Maintains a clean work environment on dock and all other areas as required.
• Operates forklift and pallet jack.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Staying caught up on a day-to-day basis is our main goal.

Requirements

• Proven receiving experience.
• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
• Team player with organizational skills
• Ability to lift or move heavy products.
