Job summary

Global Market Foods is seeking a Receiving Clerk to manage the flow of goods in our facility. You will schedule deliveries and pickups, coordinate with outside storage, and direct dock traffic while ensuring accurate documentation of shipments and receipts.

Ideal candidates have strong organizational and communication skills, experience in shipping/receiving, and proficiency with inventory software. This is a full-time on-site role with company benefits in Bolingbrook, IL.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a group setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Schedule delivery and pick-up appointments per customer requests.
• Coordinate with external storage facilities for deliveries and storage.
• Direct dock door traffic to maintain smooth operations.
• Audit, post, and file receipts using HighJump and SL systems.
• Perform inventory adjustments for samples and items as needed.
• Manage UPS shipping for sample orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and carriers to resolve issues.
• Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
