Rice Lake Weighing Systems in Rice Lake, WI, is seeking a warehouse associate to support inbound freight, verification, and order fulfillment within a climate-controlled warehouse.

You will operate forklift equipment, move items to designated locations, perform data entry in the inventory system, and assist with packing for bulk orders. Teamwork and safety are emphasized.

• Move items to the correct work center or stock location using forklift, pallet jacks, or carts.
• Assist in packaging items for bulk orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Unload and sort all incoming freight


• Inspect all incoming freight as needed


• Count and verify items to purchase orders or other documentation


• Data entry in computerized inventory system for all items


• Move all incoming product to a specific work center or final stock location utilizing equipment such as a forklift, standard and riding pallet jacks, or carts


• Ensure that all items are counted and entered correctly and moved in an efficient and timely manner


• Packaging of items that are delivered as bulk orders

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS & WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area on a daily basis


• Assist in small pack or LTL areas as needed


• Other functions as assigned by supervisor


• Continuously lifting and carrying packages up to 50 pounds


• Continuously pushing boxes, carts, or pallet jacks


• Frequently handling tools and packages


• Frequent 1-foot action while operating the forklift


• Frequently balancing on the stand‑up reach lift

Work environment in inside a warehouse where there is frequent noise and moving objects such as forklifts, carts and other personal lift equipment. Worksite can be congested at times near the unloading track. Environment is in a climate-controlled warehouse and work is completed independently but as a team.
