Job summary

Rice Lake Weighing Systems is hiring for an assembly-focused role in Wisconsin. You will assemble cables, boards, indicators, printers and scales per detailed work orders, ensuring quality and timely completion.

Soldering, crimping and basic tool use are required, with careful attention to instructions and safety protocols. You will also handle picking, packing and shipping preparations, print picklists, and clock in/out in the system.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cables, boards, indicators, printers, scales and other products per work orders
• Ensure accurate assembly per instructions, prints and quality standards; report issues
• Complete tasks to meet deadlines; ship products within schedule
• Perform soldering and crimping with high reliability
• Print picklists, close out work orders and clock in/out accurately
• Maintain a safe, clean, and grounded work area; wear PPE

Job description

• Assembly cables, boards, indicators, printers, scales and other products according to work orders.
• Ensures products are assembled accurately with close review of work instructions, electronics assembly prints and quality standards. Report any issues related to instructions or product quality.
• Exhibit sese of urgency and ensures products are completed and shipped within deadline.
• Perform high reliability soldering and crimping
• Perform accurate computer transactions including printing picklists and product specifications, closing out work orders, and clocking in/out of timekeeping system.
• Maintain a safe and professional working area. Wear appropriate PPE and ensure work cells are properly grounded. Clean work area at the close of your shift.
• Conduct testing on indicators to verify functionality and quality standards.
• Package products and prepare for shipments; may operate foam machine or build boxers.
• Operate power tools and basic hand tools, may operate overhead crane
• Must be able to work in a small group setting and independently to complete required workload.

Additional Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, positive attitude and self- motivated.

Ability to stand and walk frequently; regularly lift 25lobs and up to 50lbs

Thrive in a fast-paced environment with deadlines

Must have ability to read and speak English

Work scheduled is Monday through Friday core hours 7am to 3:30 pm

No current restrictions prohibiting regular lifting of 50 lbs.
