A leading staffing agency is seeking a Receiving Clerk to manage inventory and support production needs in Norristown. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory records, conducting audits, and ensuring timely receipt of parts. Ideal candidates are self-motivated with excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment.
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for compiling and maintaining records of quantity, type, and material of stock components to be used for fulfilling open orders.
Responsibilities:
-Maintains release assembly work orders to the shop floor.
-Kits and parts for assemblies based on work order need.
-Conducts audits of facility inventory on a scheduled basis.
-Maintains accurate inventory levels at the facility.
-Receives all parts, counts, and assigns locations in the ERP system.
-Identifies non-moving inventory and reserves with supervisor to initiate action.
-Reviews opportunities for continuous improvement related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity and introducing new technologies throughout operations.

Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Ability to read part drawings.
-Self-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision; well organized and possesses the ability to multi-task.
-Team player, open to new ideas and team work, self-motivated individual, willingness to continually strive to increase personal knowledge and value.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Above average manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
-Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
