Job summary

Rural King is hiring a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise, and stock shelves across our stores. You’ll follow SOPs for receiving, ensure accurate merchandising of apparel, and maintain organized records to support smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of receiving experience, excel in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable using computer systems.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while staying flexible.
• Proven ability to produce error-free work and meet quality standards.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems to assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments and sort for storage or sales area.
• Prepare merchandise, set up displays, and stock shelves.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and merchandising apparel.
• Process purchase orders and verify receipts using scan guns.
• Maintain accurate records of receiving paperwork.
• Support inventory management and store-to-store transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Assist with forklift/pallet jack operation.
