Job summary

Floor & Decor in Lowell, MI is seeking a Receiving Associate to support our warehouse operations at the store. You will unload, audit, and stage products to recover store inventory, and ensure receiving paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

This role is available as full-time or part-time and requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience, forklift experience preferred, and strong communication with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Attentive to detail
• Ability to work in different weather conditions
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Act in a manner that is consistent with Floor & Decor's core values
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection
• Ensure all receiving paperwork is properly completed
• Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
• Oversee the rotation of inventories within the warehouse
• Perform other related duties as directed by management
• Demonstrate safety with lifting practices and SOPs
• Complete required department and equipment training (forklift certified)
