Job summary

Floor & Decor in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Receiving Associate to support warehouse operations in our store. You will unload, audit, and stage product to recover store inventory, ensuring paperwork is completed and items are stored safely.

The role requires 1–2 years warehouse experience and forklift certification; we offer full-time and part-time positions, with base pay from $15.10 per hour and opportunities for higher starting pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Attentive to detail.
• Ability to work in different weather conditions.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Act in a manner consistent with Floor & Decor’s core values.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Ensure all receiving paperwork is properly completed.
• Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Oversee the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management.
• Demonstrate safe lifting practices and SOP compliance.
• Complete required department and equipment training (forklift certified).
