Qualifications

• 2+ years in receiving, warehouse or inventory control
• Comfort with inventory or ERP software and spreadsheets
• Accurate record keeping
• Valid driver’s license
• Bonus: forklift certification or willingness to obtain it
• Bonus: experience receiving construction materials or industrial equipment

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, check against purchase orders and packing lists, inspect for damage
• Record receipts in the ERP on the day of delivery for Accounts Payable
• Tag assets and record serial numbers and storage locations
• Keep the receiving area and yard organized and track equipment inventory
• Report shortages, damage and wrong shipments; file freight claims
• Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers, carriers and the construction team
• Support physical inventory and asset counts
• Follow site safety rules at all times
