On-site Receiving & Inventory Specialist

Job summary

LFG designs, builds and manages power infrastructure for compute systems and utility providers. The Receiving Specialist will receive deliveries at the South Bay site, inspect items, and record receipts in the ERP to support invoice matching and asset tracking.

The role includes tagging assets, recording serials and locations, keeping the receiving area organized, and coordinating with suppliers and the construction team.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years in receiving, warehouse or inventory control.
• Comfort with inventory or ERP software and spreadsheets.
• Valid driver's license.
• Bonus if forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Bonus if experience receiving construction materials or industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, check them against purchase orders and packing lists, and inspect them for damage.
• Record receipts in the ERP on the day of delivery so Accounts Payable can match invoices.
• Tag assets and record serial numbers and storage locations.
• Keep the receiving area and yard organized, and track inventory of equipment and spare parts.
• Report shortages, damage and wrong shipments to Procurement, and file freight claims.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers, carriers and the construction team.
• Support physical inventory and asset counts.
• Follow site safety rules at all times.
