Job summary

Gorbel® is seeking a Receiver/Shipper in the United States. The role ensures the efficient flow of incoming materials and preparation of outbound loads using forklifts, cranes, and hoists across a fast-paced facility.

The position requires attention to detail, the ability to interpret blueprints and PO data, and strong problem-solving skills. Training for truck/crane certification is provided during onboarding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to pass truck and crane certification with training upon hire.
• Computer knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel.
• Ability to participate in minor data entry.
• Ability to read tape measure.
• Ability to read a blue print.
• Ability to use hand tools requiring dexterity.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with factory supervision.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trucks of raw steel beams and pallets up to 60 ft.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and hoists for loads over 1,000 lbs and 30 ft.
• Build custom skids and packaging as needed.
• Process purchase orders and maintain shipping logs.
• Coordinate with logistics and purchasing to ensure invoice accuracy.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing material for quality and quantities.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
