Job summary

Gorbel, Inc. is hiring a Receiver/Shipper for the second shift in Goodyear, AZ. You will move materials using forklifts, cranes and hoists, and prepare outbound loads with careful attention to detail.

Responsibilities include processing purchase orders, logging shipments, and ensuring accuracy of invoices while prioritizing safety. Proficiency with Windows/Office and blueprint reading is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass truck and crane certification training.
• Computer knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel.
• Ability to read tape measure and blueprints.
• Dexterous use of hand tools and good communication.
• Willingness to work second shift and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trucks with raw steel beams and pallets up to 60 feet long.
• Operate forklifts, cranes and hoists for moving heavy loads.
• Build custom skids and packaging to optimize space and safety.
• Process Purchase Orders; distribute logs to floor supervisors.
• Communicate with logistics for invoice accuracy and issue resolution.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing material for quality and quantities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
