Job summary

MI Windows and Doors LLC at the Gratz Plant in PA is seeking a Receiver / Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift (Sun-Thur, 9pm-5:30am). Starting pay is $22.65 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential, plus a robust benefits package.

Responsibilities include replenishing lines, verifying material quantities, data entry in SB Client ERP, scanning barcodes, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. We provide training, cross-training, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Powered industrial truck license is required.
• Three to six months of experience or training in receiving/stock handling.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use standard office software.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred; willingness to learn SB Client.

Responsibilities

• Replenishes manufacturing lines with requested material and files paperwork.
• Verifies quantities of material received against packing slips.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Performs data entry in SB Client ERP and uses barcode scanning.
• Communicates with Receiving Supervisor and Buyers/Planners to ensure inventory levels.

GENERAL PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for duties related to receiving, cataloging and organization of materials used for production purposes, as well as the preparation of materials for the shop floor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Replenishes manufacturing lines with requested material and files appropriate paperwork
• Empty gaylords and dumpsters and complete paperwork
• Maintains a clean and organized work area
• Verifies quantities of material received against packing slip
• Places incoming material in designated area
• Communicates with Receiving Supervisor and Buyer/Planners to ensure adequate Inventory Levels
• Completes cycle counting
• Data entry — receiving and transfer of product in SB Client (ERP system).
• Scanning — taking bar code labels from Buyer/Planners and placing on product as it is received. Use of hand-held scanners to receive & transfer inventory items.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• The employee will be required to obtain powered industrial truck license additional training on moving baskets and glass.
• Three to six months of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Possess a valid driver license.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft software.
• ERP System experience or willingness to learn
• The employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• The employee must:
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Occasionally push and/ or pull up to 100 pounds
