Job summary

AbbVie in Austin, TX is seeking a Receivables Analyst to perform timely, accurate account analysis, claim resolution, and collections for key customers, with a focus on cash flow and risk management. Qualifications

• High school graduation required.
• B.A./B.S. Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred
• 5-7 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, Receivables, Customer Service or relevant experience with degree or 8+ years’ experience required
• Must have SAP experience
• Advanced Excel skills are strongly preferred; Pivot Tables, Functions, Graphing skills and experience exporting and formatting data using MS Excel, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts for potential risk and develop payment plans or other solutions on past due accounts.
• Identify root causes of complex claims and payment issues; prepare trend analyses and compelling reports using SAP, QlikView, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers; support training and AR presentations.
• Reconcile serialized accounts by researching open invoices and deductions; drive collection activities to improve cash flow.
• Provide recommendations to management and lead process improvement initiatives; maintain proper documentation and complete tasks on time and budget.
