Jericho Project in Manhattan seeks a Finance Accountant for Receivables to ensure rent deposits are made, tenants are properly set up in the property management software (PMS), and receivables reconcile to the general ledger. The role also supports rent subsidy reconciliation with City records and monthly rent invoice mailings.

This non-exempt position reports to the Senior Accountant, with a compensation range of $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 annualized.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college.
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting work.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Fund EZ experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Record and process weekly rent deposits and tenant payments in the PMS.
• Reconcile receivables balances by property in the PMS to the general ledger.
• Reconcile lease amounts charged to tenants with City records monthly.
• Assist with rent invoice printing and mailing on a monthly basis.
• Create reports on collections, receivable aging, and vacancies.
• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable and Grant accounting as needed.
