Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1+ years nonprofit accounting, government contract billing, or grants management.
• Experience with government funding sources (DHS, OMH, HASA) preferred.
• Experience submitting reimbursement claims to city/state/federal agencies.
• Familiarity with Passport/Accelerator or similar billing platforms.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Proficient Excel and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit expense claims and reimbursement requests related to government contracts, including DHS, OMH, and HASA funding sources.
• Manage billing and reimbursement processes for city, state, and federal funding programs.
• Monitor contract-related receivables and ensure timely collections from government agencies.
• Maintain detailed documentation to support billing submissions and ensure compliance with government requirements.
• Reconcile contract-related invoices and transactions and record activity into the general ledger.
• Ensure accurate tracking of expenditures and revenue recognition related to government funding streams.
• Assist with internal reporting related to program funding, contract performance, and revenue tracking.
