Job summary

The University of North Florida’s Recreation & Wellness department seeks a Services Coordinator to supervise the Member Services desk at the Student Wellness Complex. You will lead staff, manage budgets, and support initiatives in wellness, marketing, and customer service.

Responsibilities include overseeing payroll reconciliation, inventory control, POS maintenance with ActiveNet, and coordinating events and facility scheduling.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Experience with budgeting and financial tracking software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate Member Services staff.
• Reconcile payroll and manage the Member Services budget.
• Oversee merchandise inventory and sales; research and introduce new items.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the ActiveNet point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Coordinate facility use for outside groups and special events.
• Monitor membership trends and advise on growth strategies.
