Job summary

NC State University is seeking an energetic, student-centered leader to serve as the Assistant Director of Member Services and Student Employment. You will empower staff to deliver world-class wellness programs, oversee member services, POS software, and the department-wide student employment program.

The role focuses on strategic leadership, revenue generation, and creating enriching experiences for students across wellness and recreation services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, recreation or a related field plus alternative or equivalent professional training and experience.
• Member Services and Student Employment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of the Coordinator of Member Services and the Student Employment Specialist.
• Oversee department-wide student employment program (recruitment, hiring, onboarding, orientation, training) for ~650 student staff annually.
• Manage HR workflows, SOPs, and training materials; payroll & timekeeping oversight.
• Drive membership growth, revenue, and community engagement; supervise POS and facility access software.
