Job summary

Florida Gulf Coast University is seeking a Coordinator II for Facility Operations and Membership Sales to manage day-to-day operations of recreation facilities, rentals, and memberships. You will lead student staff, oversee membership processes, and drive high-quality customer service in URWC and the Aquatics Center.

The role requires experience in facility operations, supervision, and data-driven program evaluation, with a focus on safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Six years of directly related full-time experience or a Bachelor's degree plus two years of related experience.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or the ability to obtain within three months of employment.
• Experience operating a personal computer and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day facility operations to support safe, efficient, customer-focused services.
• Develop, plan and implement trainings, programs and meetings in area of responsibility.
• Hire, supervise, train and evaluate student staff.
• Oversee membership sales, customer support, promotions and billing for URWC and Aquatics Center memberships.
• Collect and analyze data to assess programs and initiatives.
• Assist with budget monitoring and planning for Facility Operations budgets.
• Conduct regular safety and readiness inspections and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Assist with risk management procedures and reservations planning.
