Job summary

Riggs CAT is seeking a Director of Rebuilds to lead the strategy and execution of machine and component rebuild programs across the branch network. You will own the rebuild lifecycle from opportunity identification and quoting to scheduling and delivery, driving revenue, margin, and on-time project completion while upholding the Riggs Way.

The role requires a proven track record in heavy equipment service, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with Field,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Cat or competitive dealer parts, service, or product support experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Direct experience with machine and component rebuild programs, including Cat Certified Rebuild, CPT, and CCR.
• Proven track record of building and executing a strategy that grows revenue while managing profit, time, and expense.
• Strong knowledge of machine systems and components, shop operations, and service workflow.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CRM, and service management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the company-wide rebuild strategy, with regional and branch goals.
• Forecast rebuild demand using machine population, hours, and condition data.
• Collaborate with Service and Parts leadership on capacity, scheduling, parts availability, and workflow.
• Standardize rebuild processes across locations including inspection, pricing, warranty, and quality control.
• Partner with Cat and Riggs marketing to plan rebuild campaigns and ensure program compliance.
