Novo Nordisk in Plainsboro, NJ, is seeking a Rebate Operations Analyst to support rebate processing and business assurance activities. You will ensure timely payments for Commercial, Part D and Coverage Gap customers and provide analytical support for projects within Business Assurance.

The role reports to the head of Rebate Operations and works with Business Assurance, Strategic Pricing & Contracting, and external stakeholders. A strong data mindset and Excel/SQL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced PC skills required.
• Knowledge of contracting and pricing and related processes.
• Data manipulation through third-party vendors for data scrubbing.
• Experience with financial or statistical tools to analyze contract data.
• Microsoft Access and advanced Excel skills required.
• SQL experience preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
• Experience with Model N.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers and management with questions or problems arising with contracts and payments and troubleshoots accordingly.
• Assists with internal and external audits.
• Creates special reports and provides analysis support to management based on trends and needs.
• Ensures accurate reporting to finance and treasury (monthly reporting, reconciliations).
• Identifies performance trends and provides recommendations to management.
• Gathers missing claims data from customers.
• Processes and analyzes rebate payments and adjustments ($100K–$200M+).
• Prepares and provides contract reports to field sales and home office management.
• Ensures funds distribution and reporting to field sales and rebate customers.
• Reviews contract terms and ensures data reflects contract terms for processing.
• Recommends contract language to management.
• Formats incoming claims data and ensures proper format.
• Supports data loading and scrubbing efforts with external sources.
• Coordinates with external vendor to resolve data issues.
• Tracks data to ensure on-time payment.
• Files documentation for payments and contracts and updates records.
• Generates supporting reports for reconciliation.
• Implements enhancements for data validation and rebate systems.
• Creates and maintains rebate agreements.
• Keeps A/P vendor information updated; ensures timely payments.
• Ensures SLA compliance and Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
• Maintains membership and formulary linkages in rebate system.
• Participates in adhoc projects to ensure compliance across rebate operations.
