Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a skilled laborer to assist journeymen with planning, laying out and installing rebar, embeds, and anchor bolts for concrete structures. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a rod buster, carpenter or similar helper.
• Knowledge of rebar placement, tying techniques and layout.
• Ability to read plans and work safely around heavy equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman in planning, lay-out and install rebar, mesh, embeds and anchor bolts.
• Read plans and specifications to ensure correct placement and spacing of hardware.
• Operate hand tools and rod-bending equipment safely and efficiently.
