Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking a skilled Rodbuster Journeyman to plan, lay out and install rebar, mesh, embeds and anchor bolts in concrete forms. You will use a variety of hand tools, torches and measuring devices to meet project specifications.

Minimum 4 years of experience in concrete crafts is required, along with the ability to work safely on-site, follow plans and coordinate with other trades on large civil projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a rod buster, carpenter or similar craft.
• Experience with erection of concrete structures and use of rebar layouts.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out and install rebar, mesh, embeds and anchor bolts in concrete forms.
• Assemble and install rebar and related components per project specs.
• Maintain safety and communicate hazards; support other trades as needed.
