Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Realty Project Coach to join the Realty Execution team and lead store and club remodels, new stores, clubs, and special projects across the country. You will ensure projects finish on time, within budget, and meet quality standards while traveling nationwide.

The role requires influencing stakeholders, owning project plans, and developing associates. Overnight shifts and extensive travel (up to 1,000 miles from home) are typical, with 80% away for multi‑week periods

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field plus 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or a related area; or 3 years of experience in those areas.
• Master’s degree in business or a related field is preferred and may strengthen candidacy.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of projects in assigned stores, communicate plans, changes, and obstacles to stakeholders.
• Influence and lead team members and cross‑functional partners to meet timelines and minimize impacts on store operations.
• Develop associates through training, mentoring, and performance recognition; identify career paths.
• Travel nationwide to oversee remodels, new stores, clubs, and special projects and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

As a Realty Project Coach, you will join the Realty Execution team for Walmart U.S. and take ownership of delivering store and club remodels, new stores, clubs, and special projects across the country. Your responsibilities include ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet our quality standards while traveling nationwide.

Shift and Travel

Primarily working overnights; night shifts average from 10 to 12 hours. Frequent travel up to 1,000 miles from home is required, with 80% of your time away or 17‑21 days at a time, depending on project workload.

Salary

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 – $110,000 plus performance‑based bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field plus 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or a related area **or** 3 years of experience in those areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business or a related field.
• 1 year’s experience leading cross‑functional teams.
• Project Management – Management Professional Certification.
