Job summary

BW Design Group seeks a Reality Capture Manager to lead the firm’s laser scanning, drone mapping, and photogrammetry capabilities across design and build projects. You will drive accuracy of existing conditions data, lead technical teams, and embed capture workflows into project delivery while exploring stand‑alone service opportunities.

The role requires 5+ years in reality capture within an AEC context, proficiency with Revit/AutoCAD, and travel up to 40% across client sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
5+ years hands-on reality capture experience in AEC.
Proficiency with terrestrial laser scanning platforms such as Trimble/Leica/Faro.
Experience integrating point clouds into Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; BIM workflows familiarity.
Experience with 360° cameras and image hosting platforms (DroneDeploy/OpenSpace/Cupix).
Demonstrated ability to scope and price professional services engagements.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 30–40%.

Responsibilities

Lead Reality Capture as a core internal capability that enhances design packages.
Establish annual utilization, adoption, and service-quality targets.
Define capture scope, deliverables, and pricing within design packages.
Oversee all reality capture projects from planning through final delivery.
Develop scalable workflows and best practices for accuracy and efficiency.
Manage reality capture subcontractors and supplemental service providers as required.
Develop partnerships with technology vendors and service providers.
