Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Systems Engineer (2/3 level) to design and test real-time simulations. This on-site role requires a Secret clearance and may involve up to 25% travel. You will work with OO languages (C#/C++, Java) to model sensor operations and electronic warfare effects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in a STEM field with relevant experience.
• Experience with OO languages such as C#/C++ or Java.
• Active US Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test physics-based, real-time simulations.
• Model sensor/payload operations and EW effects using OO languages.
• Conduct trade studies via computer simulation to compare architectures.
• Develop visualization tools for operator interaction and mission analysis.
• Ensure robust, scalable, maintainable code across platforms.
• Demonstrate capabilities to leadership and customers; collect feedback.
