Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Palmdale, CA seeks a Principal Engineer - Simulation Modeling to build and integrate real-time simulation frameworks and models. You will shape analysis pipelines, perform trade studies, and support mission effectiveness analyses using C/C++ and Java across Windows, Linux, and RTOS environments.

You will work in a collaborative team, leveraging GitLab, Confluence, and Atlassian tools while applying advanced visualization techniques and GUI development to support diverse

Qualifications

• BS in a STEM field with 8+ years in model simulation, or MS with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Active US Government Top Secret clearance (background investigation or CE).
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance within reasonable time.
• Strong C/C++ and OO language experience.
• Experience on Windows, Linux, RTOS (LynxOS/VxWorks).
• Familiarity with aviation or safety-critical systems.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and XML.
• Experience with GitLab, Confluence, Git tooling.
• Experience developing in Java, C++, or other OO languages.
