Job summary

Weave Robotics, Inc. is seeking a firmware engineer to develop and maintain real-time motor-control software and hierarchical control systems from prototype stages to production-ready releases.

You will validate and debug motor controllers, sensors, and embedded systems and collaborate with electrical engineers to build robust calibration and sensing pipelines. The role requires hands-on embedded development, knowledge of control software architectures, and experience with various communication

Qualifications

Requires at least two years of control-software development for real-time systems, including firmware architecture, microcontrollers, drivers, and hardware abstraction layers.
Hands-on embedded and motor-control experience; familiarity with communication interfaces and embedded safety mechanisms; Rust is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain real-time motor-control firmware and hierarchical control systems from early prototypes through production.
Validate and debug motor controllers, sensors and embedded systems; build reliable calibration and sensing pipelines in collaboration with electrical engineers.
