Job summary

Leidos Defense Sensors is seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare Software Engineer to design, implement, and integrate advanced radar technologies into sensor programs. You will contribute to real-time signal processing, data acquisition, and modular software design for DoD projects across CONUS/OCONUS deployments.

The role offers exposure to diverse sensor systems, with opportunities for career advancement into senior technical, project management, and leadership positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited institution plus 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Strong foundations in object-oriented software design, modern C++ development, CUDA GPU development, Linux and shell scripting, software design patterns
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance
• Residence in the North Alabama area or willingness to relocate to the Huntsville/North Alabama region
