Qualifications

• Associate's Degree – required.
• Bachelor's Degree – preferred.
• 10+ years Clinical Experience – required.
• RN/MD/DO/MBBS/Paramedic/Case Management/Social Work license/certification – required.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving in patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Reports up through the Logistics Center.
• Manages patient flow into, through, and out of the hospital.
• Responsible for patient placement for all admissions through all portals of entry (transfers, ED, OR/PACU, direct).
• Responsible for overall bed management.
• Monitors and manages capacity.
• Facilitates transfers within Albany Med Health System and out of the organization.
• Uses data analytics and technology to make real-time patient flow decisions.
